HP 3301 help

Test the HP 3301fdw’s fax setup.

The fax test checks the fax hardware, the phone line and the dial tone, and prints a report.

Steps

Load full-size paper and make sure the cartridges are in.
On the Home screen tap Menu, scroll to Utilities and tap Tools.
Tap Troubleshooting → Fax → Fax Test Report.
Read the report: it shows which part failed.

Test passed but faxing still fails? Check the fax settings listed on the report.
