HP 3301 help

The HP 3301fdw receives faxes but does not send them.

The printer may be dialing too fast, or the number or the receiving machine is the problem.

Steps

Add pauses after an outside-line code. For example dial 9,555,5555 instead of 95555555, using the Pause key.
Call the fax number from a phone and listen for fax tones. No tones means the other machine is off or voicemail is answering.

Good to know

Lower the fax speed on VoIP or noisy lines.
