Slow the fax speed down when faxes fail.

Internet phone (VoIP), PBX systems and noisy lines often need a slower fax speed.

Steps

  1. On the Home screen tap Menu, scroll to Utilities and tap Settings, then Fax Settings → Fax Send (or Fax Receive) → Fax Dialing.
  2. Open the send or receive speed setting.
  3. Choose Slow (9600 bps), Medium (14400 bps) or Fast (33600 bps).
