Clear a jam through the HP 9730’s rear access door.

Behind the rear door is a removable paper path cover.

Steps

At the back, press the two buttons on the rear door and open it. Remove any paper.
Press the two buttons on the paper path cover and pull it out. Remove any paper.
Put the cover back and close the rear door.

Good to know

Pull paper out with both hands, straight out. Never use tweezers or pliers.
Remove every torn scrap, or the jam comes back.
