HP OfficeJet Pro 9730 help

Stop the HP 9730 jamming.

Most jams come from the paper or the way it is loaded.

Steps

  1. Keep the printer on a flat surface and take printed pages out of the output tray often.
  2. Store paper flat in a resealable bag so it does not curl.
  3. Never mix sizes or types in a tray, and do not overfill it or push the paper in too far.
  4. Set the guides snug but not bending the paper.
  5. Do not load paper while printing.
  6. For two-sided printing, avoid heavy images on thin paper.
