HP 3301 help
HP 3301 not connecting to Wi-Fi? Work through this list.
Most Wi-Fi problems come down to the wrong network, the wrong password, distance or interference.
Steps
- Check that the printer and the router are on and that the printer’s Wi-Fi is switched on.
- Print the network configuration report and check that its network name (SSID) matches your computer’s.
- If the SSID or password might be wrong, run Wi-Fi Setup again.
- On WPA networks the encryption (AES or TKIP) must match the router.
- Keep the printer within about 100 ft (30 m) of the router, away from metal cabinets, concrete walls, microwaves, cordless phones and cameras.
- Make sure the print driver is installed and the computer is on the same network.
