Lines, streaks or bands on HP 3301 prints.
Light streaks, dark streaks and repeating bands have slightly different fixes.
Steps
- Light vertical streaks: print again, then take the cartridge out and rock it to spread the toner.
- Dark vertical streaks: print again, rock the cartridge, print a cleaning page and check the toner level.
- Repeating bands: print again, replace the cartridge or try another paper type.
- To find which color causes it, print the print quality troubleshooting page.
Good to know
- Streaks can also appear when the room is too hot, cold or humid for the printer.
