HP OfficeJet Pro 9730 help
Find the HP 9730’s IP address and open its web page.
The embedded web server is a settings page inside the printer, opened in a browser with the printer’s IP address.
Steps
- Tap the Status Center at the top of the screen, or on the Home screen tap Menu, scroll to Utilities and tap Settings → Network → Wi-Fi → View Details.
- Type the address into a browser on the same network. Over Wi-Fi Direct the address is 192.168.223.1.
- If the browser warns the site is unsafe, continue: it is your printer.
- If asked for a password, use the PIN on the label inside the cartridge access door.
Good to know
- The web page cannot be reached from outside your network.
