Lock the HP 9730’s settings with a password.

An admin password stops others changing the printer’s settings.

Steps

  1. Open the printer’s web page: type its IP address into a browser. How to find it →
  2. Click Security → Password Settings.
  3. Type the new password twice and click Apply.
