Where to put originals for copying and scanning on the HP 9730.
Photos and single pages go on the glass. Stacks of plain pages go in the document feeder.
Steps
- Glass: take any pages out of the feeder, lift the lid, lay the original face down against the marked corner and close the lid.
- Feeder: put pages in face up. Portrait pages go in top edge first, landscape pages left edge first. Slide them in until the printer beeps or shows the pages, then move the guides to the edges.
Good to know
- Never put photos in the feeder.
- Fit to Page copying only works from the glass.
