HP 3301 help
Where to put originals for copying, scanning and faxing.
Single pages and photos go on the glass. Stacks of plain pages go in the 50-sheet document feeder.
Steps
- Glass: lift the lid, lay the original print side down against the mark at the rear-left corner, close the lid.
- Feeder: open the output tray extender, slide the pages in print side up until the printer beeps or shows that it found them, then move the guides to touch the paper.
Good to know
- Never put photos in the feeder: it can damage them.
- Fit to Page copying only works from the glass.
- Keep the glass and the back of the lid clean, or marks end up in every copy.
