HP 3301 help

Scan from the HP 3301’s screen to your computer.

On Windows install HP Universal Scan Software and switch on Scan to Computer. On a Mac use the HP Smart app.

Steps

Download the driver for the printer from hp.com/support and install it. The full-feature driver includes text recognition (OCR).
Open HP Scan Assistant, select the printer and click OK.
Click Manage Scan to Computer → Enable.
Now scan from the printer and pick your computer as the destination.

Good to know

To change what each scan button does, open HP Scan, edit the shortcut (for example Scan as PDF) and click Save.
For several pages in one file, start the scan from the HP software or use the document feeder.
