HP 3301 help
Connect an HP 3301 to Wi-Fi from the touchscreen.
Turn on Wi-Fi on the printer and run Wi-Fi Setup or Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS). Unplug any Ethernet cable first: the printer uses one or the other.
Steps
- On the Home screen tap Menu, scroll to Utilities and tap Settings.
- Tap Network, then Wi-Fi.
- Switch the Wi-Fi toggle on.
- Tap Wi-Fi Setup (choose your network and type the password) or Wi-Fi Protected Setup (press WPS on the router), and follow the screen.
- Install the HP software on your computer or phone from hpsmart.com.
Good to know
- If the printer has never been on Wi-Fi, switching Wi-Fi on starts Wi-Fi Setup by itself.
- The printer and the computer or phone that prints must be on the same network.
