HP OfficeJet Pro 9730 help
Set up the HP 9730 on Wi-Fi with the HP app.
The HP app finds the printer over Bluetooth and puts it on your Wi-Fi. It does not print over Bluetooth.
Steps
- Turn on Bluetooth and location services on your phone.
- Make sure the printer’s Wi-Fi is on and it is in setup mode.
- Connect the phone to the Wi-Fi network the printer should join.
- Open the HP app, sign in if asked and add the printer.
- If asked for a password, enter the PIN from the label inside the cartridge access door.
Good to know
- When it connects, the Wi-Fi light stops blinking and stays on.
