HP OfficeJet Pro 9730 help
Connect the HP OfficeJet Pro 9730 to Wi-Fi.
Switch Wi-Fi on and run the Wi-Fi Setup Wizard or Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS). The blue Wi-Fi light is on while Wi-Fi is on. Unplug any Ethernet cable first.
Steps
- On the Home screen tap Menu, scroll to Utilities and tap Settings.
- Tap Network → Wi-Fi and switch the toggle on.
- Tap Wi-Fi Setup Wizard (pick your network, type the password) or Wi-Fi Protected Setup (press WPS on the router).
- When it is connected, install the HP software from 123.hp.com.
Good to know
- On a printer that has never been on Wi-Fi, switching Wi-Fi on starts the wizard by itself.
- The printer and the devices that print must be on the same network.
