Print from a phone to the HP 9730.

iPhones use AirPrint, which is built in. Android uses the HP Print Service Plugin. The HP app works on both.

Steps

iPhone/iPad: Share → Print → pick the printer.
Android: install HP Print Service Plugin from Google Play and switch it on.
Any phone: print and scan with the HP app.

Good to know

The phone and printer must be on the same network, or use Wi-Fi Direct.
